IE expo China is a leading trade fair for environmental technologies in Asia and the second largest in the world, ranking only
behind IFAT Munich in Germany. IE expo China 2023 has been the largest session since its inception. The three-day expo
attracted 2,407 exhibitors from 24 countries and regions. At the Shanghai New International Expo Centre where IE expo
China 2023 was hosted, all its 17 exhibition halls were opened for the first time, making the exhibition area reach 196,000
square meters. This session exhibited collaborative governance solutions to pollution reduction and carbon reduction,
as well as cutting-edge scientific and technological products in the full industry chain covering water and sewage treatment,
water supply and drainage, solid waste treatment and disposal, air pollution treatment, contaminated land remediation,
and environmental monitoring. More than 91,007 buyers from 68 countries and regions participated in the expo for
business negotiations. This expo has become a core platform to push the industry’s high-quality development.
During the expo, the IE expo China Environmental Technology Conference 2023 co-hosted by authorities such as the
Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences, the China Environment Chamber of Commerce, and the Chinese Society
for Environmental Sciences and another 39 theme forums were held. Experts, well-known scholars, and senior executives
of famous enterprises in the field of environmental protection shared their profound insights on the realization of international
cooperation and common development in ecological protection, green and low-carbon development, and green transition.
The 25th edition of IE expo China will take place from April 18 to 20, 2024 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre(SNIEC).
It is expected to attract more than 2,500 exhibitors and 100,000 industry visitors covering an exhibition space of 200,000 square meters.
