The prime contractor for the first waste-to-energy incinerator in Thailand was Marubeni Corporation, a Japanese-headed industry conglomerate. They were responsible for the implementation of the construction of the power plant for Chonburi Clean Energy (CCE), a joint venture between WHA Utilities & Power, Glow Energy, and Suez. JFE Engineering was also involved in the project, handling the specific scope of work, according to JFE Engineering Corporation.
