Malaysia Selangor State’s First Waste Incineration Power Generation Project

A delegation led by Norazlina Zakaria, President of Malaysia’s Global Holdings Group, visited the engineering company and issued the notice of award for the Phase 1 and Phase 2 EPC contracts of the Selangor State Renewable Energy Power Station Project.Global Holdings Group, a key enterprise in Selangor State, Malaysia, has made significant contributions and efforts in the fields of environmental protection and renewable energy. Norazlina Zakaria introduced the development history and core business of Global Holdings Group, and highly praised Shanghai Electric’s professional performance and outstanding achievements in the field of power station projects. She expressed that the renewable energy power station is a major project of great importance to the local government and hopes that Shanghai Electric will provide strong support and assistance.

The Selangor State Renewable Energy Power Station Project is Selangor State’s first waste incineration power generation project, serving as a demonstration project for Malaysia’s development of green energy and energy efficiency. Phase 1 has an installed capacity of 25 megawatts and a waste processing scale of 1,400 tons per day; Phase 2 has an installed capacity of 26 megawatts and a waste processing scale of 1,500 tons per day. The project is expected to be completed in a total of 29 months.
