fluorine – lined rubber flexible joint.
### Structure and Materials
- **Main Body**: The external flange is made of SS30408 (a type of stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance).
It can be connected to the pipeline flange through the bolt holes.
- **Inner Lining Layer**: The white part is fluoroplastic, commonly such as polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).
It has excellent chemical corrosion resistance and can resist the corrosion of almost all chemical media.
It also has characteristics such as a low coefficient of friction, high temperature resistance (up to about 260 °C), and non – stickiness.
- **Intermediate Rubber Layer**: It plays a role in shock absorption, buffering, and sealing. It can absorb the vibration and displacement of the pipeline and compensate for the installation deviation of the pipeline.
### Meaning of Markings -
**DN150**: It indicates that the nominal diameter is 150 millimeters. It is a nominal pipe diameter used for standardization in the pipeline system, which is convenient for the selection and connection of pipelines and fittings.
- **PN16**: It refers to the nominal pressure of 16 kgf/cm² (1.6 MPa), representing the maximum allowable working pressure of this flexible joint at the specified temperature.
### Application Fields
It is widely used in the pipeline systems of industries such as chemical, petroleum, pharmaceutical, and food industries. It is suitable for transporting highly corrosive media, such as acid – base solutions and organic solvents. It can ensure the sealing of pipeline connections, resist the corrosion of media, extend the service life of the pipeline system, and reduce the safety risks caused by medium leakage.
